As part of the Stand Tall initiative, children from schools in the district were invited to decorate their own giraffe. Kirby Primary created Gertrude (pictured right). She is currently on display at New Look in Colchester Lion Walk. Our school classes are names after different wild cats e.g. pumas, leopards etc. Pictures of these have been painted on the giraffe, in addition to an elephant and jungle leaves. |
